Guess Who's On The "Respect The Mic" Scene?

Guess what? Yours truly has been given the privelege of interviewing artists showcased on Respect The Mic presented by Orangeismedia!

Respect The Mic is a weekly open mic showcasing Orlando's most incredible artists ranging from poets, emcee's, dancers, painters, comedians, and so much more! Respect The Mic shows are held every Tuesday night - doors open at 8 P.M. EST and the show starts at 9 P.M. Admission is typically $10 per person and table reservations are also available upon request. The location is Café Annie's, 131 N Orange Ave in Downtown Orlando on the corner of Orange and Jefferson.

In early October, I approached the owner of Respect The Mic, Leon Orroel Orange, Jr., commonly known as Orange. I proposed a new interview web series called Martine On The "Respect The Mic" Scene where I visit the showcase every Tuesday and interview the featured performer of the evening, among other guests. The idea is to allow the public a closer look at the many creative and talented entertainers Respect The Mic has to offer. Naturally, Orange was on board with my idea. Thus, beginning the birth of my new show, Martine On The "Respect The Mic" Scene.
