Introducing the debut of my new show where I interview featured artists, poets, emcees, and business owners showcased at Respect The Mic brought to you by Orangeismedia.

On Tuesday, October 13, 2015 for the first time ever, Respect The Mic has an in-house artist interviewer, where I, Orlando media journalist Martine St. Hilaire, also known as Martine On The Scene, make regular appearances at RTM to interview the artists at the well-known weekly event.

My Mission: The purpose of this project is to further explore (beyond the stage) the many talents that walk through the doors every Tuesday night at Cafe Annie's. I want the world to meet the passionate creators and entertainers of Orlando.

Respect The Mic is a weekly open mic showcasing Orlando's most incredible artists ranging from poets, emcee's, dancers, painters, comedians, and so much more! Respect The Mic shows are held every Tuesday night - doors open at 8 P.M. EST and the show starts at 9 P.M. Admission is typically $10 per person and table reservations are also available upon request. The location is Café Annie's, 131 N Orange Ave in Downtown Orlando on the corner of Orange and Jefferson.
