Highlights from The Network Music Conference 2015

I've been extremely busy with finding industry work (you know, since I graduated and all) and actively working three jobs (two non-industry related and one industry related). Check out my LinkedIn profile. I have no shame in my hard-working game.

Yes, I admitted to the above, but I've also been determined to keep my flames for writing, interviewing, blogging, curating and event hopping burning strong. Speaking of event hopping, I was on a blog-worthy scene at the 5th annual Network Music Conference and Entertainment Convention (TNMC) which was held on November 21, 2015 at the Double Tree Hotel in beautiful Downtown Orlando. Last year was TNMC's fifth and largest year to date and it was founded by Alex "DJ Slym" Ducenord.

Over the past 5 years, TNMC developed a huge following and TNMC 2015 showcased it well. The event was created to benefit and empower students, aspiring artists, creative minds, musicians and small businesses throughout the Greater Orlando area sans the traditional high cost of most conferences.

The mission for TNMC is share information; experiences, advice and powerful connections with individuals who strive to make a living in the music and entertainment industry. TNMC also demonstrates how to utilize information gathered from the conference, in today’s market, as tools for success within the music and entertainment industry.

TNMC showcases all aspects of the music and film business to illustrate the broad spectrum of the entertainment industry through interactive panels, meet & greets, workshops and more! The TNMC movement was created to encourage every person who has a passion for music and entertainment business and to make their dream a reality.

DJ Slym gathered industry experts to speak at the conference and I was able to capture some of what Keith Clinkscales, Ethan Curtis, Elizabeth Neff, Kevin Cossum, Ken DeGilio, Christina Clark, Korinne Perez, and Julia Beverly had to share!
