Beyoncé's Young, Black, Proud & in "Formation" - [VIDEO]
Just one day before Beyoncé takes the stage during the Coldplay-headlined Super Bowl 50 halftime show, the starlet dropped her surprise new single "Formation" which is her first new song since her Beyoncé: Platinum Edition was released in November 2014.
The unlisted video proudly shows Mrs. Carter's blackness, feminism, politics, and of course, slayage in full effect. This is "Formation."
If you ever wondered what it means to be "unapologetically black," this video is the blueprint. Lyric by lyric Queen Béy celebrates blackness, even down to Blue Ivy’s natural afro and recognizing the divine creation that is Red Lobster?
I've always loved Beyoncé. And, like her, I will never deny my own blackness, and neither should the rest of us in all shades. What do you say? Meet ya'll at Red Lobster [wink-wink]. I've always loved Beyoncé. And, like Queen Bey, we should never deny our blackness, and neither should the rest of us in all our shade-nesses. What do you say? Meet ya'll at Red Lobster [wink-wink].
"Formation" is available to stream and download for free exclusively through Tidal.
You rock for reading this post! Thank you.
We love you!
