Haiti Open Magazine's Summer 2022 Edition Articles by Martine St. Hilaire

My beautiful people, I'm back at it again with another feature in Haiti Open Magazine! This time it's for their summer 2022 issue (16th edition). We strongly believe the help Haiti needs will come from its ambitious young people. To introduce some of them, Haiti Open created a summer edition dedicated to promoting stories about young Haitians. We believe the next generation of leaders are more likely to challenge the way things are done and push for improvement.

We have always a felt a deep responsibility to help with sourcing, attracting and interviewing Haitian talents from Haiti and across the diaspora, and promote them on a world stage. Haitians have innate talents that can be of service to the world, if they have quality representation. Their management and access to appropriate training and opportunities is critically imperative for their success. The magazine started to build, categorize and organize different Haitian talents using various yearly summer competitions, starting with this year's Hot 100 Young Haitians. The competition's purpose is to attract models, tv and podcast personalities, and other entertainment genres.

Haiti Open's Hot 100 Young Haitians contest is an annual summer competition that gives hopeful models and influencers living in Haiti, the Americas, Europe and across the diaspora an exclusive opportunity to share their skills, help promote Haitian talents and cultural activities, and be the next face of Haiti Open magazine. Ultimately, it's intended to help the magazine promote young Haitians globally and in a positive light. All of the final 100 candidates are winners in our book!

In this issue, I was also honored to highlight other Haitian brilliance outside of the competition.
